“Shooter Mag has not been chosen as the better person to take his edition in Spain than Gonzalo Höhr. Gonzalo has not studied photography but is a great lover of this art since he began to take photos at the age of 17, and with exhibitions In Cadiz, Huelva and Melilla. He is passionate about photography, especially in black and white. He started developing his photos in the darkroom, but now he has discovered that mobile photography has great advantages over traditional photography, such as being able to photograph any scene, at any time and place, he can go unnoticed, and share their magnificent pictures with their followers immediately and directly from their smartphone. However, Gonzalo is loyal to his Nikon camera, and in Instagram alternates pictures with both, his cell phone and his beloved camera.

He discovered Instagram a little more than a year ago, and was immediately attracted and hooked by this new way of sharing and teaching his photographic work. Instagram has let him to meet real and great artists. He has got two profiles in public: @hohrgo and @anseldmh.  At the same time,  he is moderator at @bnw_madrid and editor in chief at @friendsinperson, profile that he considers his baby. Both, in his personal accounts and in the groups he moderates, he shows his great passion for photography. He dedicates much of his time to probing and discovering interesting profiles, highlighting photos and authors. He makes the dirty work to all the otherslovers of good photography, so we discover new accounts, new artists, new ways of approaching the world of photography. I am convinced that Gonzalo, like he is doing with the profile of @shootermag_spain, he is going to do a great work for the magazine, with passion, determination and with talent. As I said at the beginning of these lines, Shooter couldn,t chosen better person to take the magazine in Spain. I am convinced of it.”
